I haven’t done a Blog News post in a while so I thought it’s time to fill you in on what’s happening.
First, I want to say thank you for reading. Most of my readers are very quiet and that’s okay. It’s good to know you are reading and taking these thoughts and ideas and chewing on them. The Lord is growing Gospel Grace little by little, it was his from the beginning, my call is to be a faithful writer.
VISION
The vision for Gospel Grace is still to help women think clearly about who God is, the person and cross work of Christ and how that knowledge informs who we are as Christians and what we are to do in this life.
NEWS
Pilgrim Radio conducted an interview with me last week about Gospel Amnesia. The interview is scheduled to air this coming Thursday October 18. It is available through online streaming, and if you live in the Great Basin/Northern Rockies area you can find their radio stations on their website. The interview program is called “His People,” which airs a few times during the day at: 2:30AM,12:30PM, and 9:30PM.
Prayer for Gospel Amnesia is appreciated. I am still working on the draft and should be sending it to the editors “soon.”
Those who follow me on Twitter know my burden for TGC_IO and their efforts to ameliorate theological famine. The Lord has opened doors and made it possible for our family to be involved in sending a couple of cases of books to Africa. I am really excited about other future opportunities to partner with TGC_IO. It is through grace that Christ has taken a very selfish woman who cared only about herself and her family and granted this heart a genuine compassion for the nations. As I write, John Piper’s book Let the Nations be Glad is on a UPS truck coming my way. How excited I am to see what God will do!!
I am looking forward to having some guest bloggers here at Gospel Grace over the next few weeks. Gloria Furman author of Glimpses of Grace: Treasuring the Gospel in Your Home (Crossway 2013) has written on seasons of suffering. Look for that tomorrow morning, Monday October 15. Look for a few articles on education choices for Christian families soon; I have a couple authors lined up for that series already.
