What do you emphasize and return to over and over again in your home and within the context of your family culture? Our children pick up our excitement and passions (albeit not wholesale). I’m grateful to Tim Challies for his feedback and link yesterday, to my article Raising Gospel Centered Children published over at GCD. If you haven’t read it already, please do, and be thinking about what types of things you emphasize in your home and put yourself in your child’s position and think about what they see mom and dad really love and get excited about. Hopefully at the center of that answer will be love for Jesus and how we are called to serve him.
