I’ve developed some of the topics I write about on this blog in an article at Gospel Centered Discipleship. It compares and contrasts some of the ways we go about discipling our children, what motivates us, and how Christ should be at the center of it all.
I loved, as in loved, what you wrote!!!
I’m grateful that it blessed you, Kristi. The Lord is always pressing 2 Cor.1:3-4 into my soul:
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.”
Thanks for your vulnerability here, Luma. This is such an easy trap for us to fall into. And many times the gospel’s work on display is not the pretty, controlled little package we want it to be.
